Karyn has been part of Mt. Zion since she was a kid. She began volunteering in teen ministry and served for 15 years while also working at a daycare. In 2018, she accepted her current position and is grateful to feel called to serve at the church that helped shape her faith.
Karyn has a mild obsession with coffee, the color orange, sneakers, and houndstooth. She loves hiking, winter, cooking, quirky traditions, and journals.
Her life verse for many years was John 10:10, but after a season of grief intertwined with the joy of Advent, it became Isaiah 9:2.
